As of June 5, the north branch of Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care will be open on Sundays. Due to increased demand, the Weaverville location will see patients Sundays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The newly added hours allow Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care to see patients with non-life threatening injuries and illnesses seven days a week at that center.
Asheville not-for-profit Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care received national attention for its Haiti project when it received the Urgent Care Association of America's (UCAOA) prestigious Humanitarian Award.
